for levis 501 stf if want a kinda slim fit what size would i buy and what would i do to like get me there? should i presoak first and then just wait it out?
It’s tough to answer this because I don’t know your relative leg size but if you want maximum shrinkage go hot soak, hot dry. Although I wouldn’t recommend the dryer, as it gives you really weird creases and fading.
I need to show you a picture of a pale to mustard pair of wingtip brogues I have, as I am battling to find clothes (pants) to match. They are light brown with a hint of yellow? Is there any way I can send the photo to you please? Regards. Paul
Do it! Host it and send me the link or send it directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
With mustard shoes, you probably want to stick to earth tones, neutrals, and complimentary colors to yellow. Green, brown, tan, white, navy.
I want to make a documentary in which fan boys/girls get to live with the celebrities they idolize and fantasize about for a month and then realize how they’re not at all what their minds want them to be and then everyone is miserable.
Brogue refers to the punched detailing in shoe leather. A cap toe shoe can be brogued, but it's not a wingtip (it doesn't have wings). And there are wingtip shoes that don't have broguing (think of those tacky two-tone patent leather 'tuxedo' shoes).
Thanks, I see your point. But if you describe shoes as “brogues”, you generally mean a full brogue, which has the characteristic wing-shaped toe cap.
Let’s each use our time more mindfully from here on out.
Have you found that your experience with boutique denim and rarer / high-end Levi's offerings has ruined you on the basic $50 Levi's 501 STF, or do you think they are still a good go-to pair of jeans? I'm about to buy my first pair to fit my giant thighs. Thanks.
Of course not. I still love my standard STF 501s. I hope a pair work out for you.
